Back at It!

Well I took a break, lots of things happened in my life, but I still maintained my love of television and pop culture.  I do not know how much I'll be writing.  I plan to write on anything great, and whenever I can.

Some of my favorites right now are Stranger Things, Night of, Jane the Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Of course, the excitement for Gilmore Girls. I've included the link to the preview below.

Unfamous!

As a huge fan of Gilmore Girls, I love seeing anyone from the show being successful. I am also reading Lauren Graham's book, Someday, Someday Maybe, right now.  It is good so far, and I can see how it can easily be turned into a sitcom. So I really loved seeing the reaction to the first script in this article and on the CW no less.  I really cannot wait to see how it is brought to life on tv.

Klondike: Part I

As someone who grew up reading Jack London, I was excited when I read about this mini-series as well as Discovery's foray into scripted content.  I enjoyed the History channel's Vikings this summer. They won great praise for their Bible mini-series, so Discovery isn't off the mark by expanding their content.

Also, Robb Stark in the Yukon who could say no to that? (April 6th, too far.)

Golden Globes 2014: Results and Commentary

I am opening my Golden Globes post fangirling Kings of Leon's acoustic version of Last Mile Home.  I have a penchant for acoustic versions of songs, and this song at the end of August: Osage County is phenomenal.

Onto the real reason you are here, the ballot and show commentary!

Meg's Golden Globes picks, aka total toss-up 2K14

Well, this year's Globes are full of categories with tough competition.  If anything, it has shown that I have a lot of movies to watch!  I think that a lot of my picks are guesses, because there are a few people who could win these categories.  And come on, the HFPA loves to pick some weird winners.  But please... No Downton Abbey.
